One day take the boat trip to Phi Phi Island. I like the slower boat, go snorkel a bit. Have a nice lunch. Stop at a great atoll out in the middle of the sea for a drink on the way way.
See FantaSea one night. Have the buffet also, pay for the better tickets, it’s worth it.
A couple of waterfalls should be running during that time, worth the drive; take the tour around the island (on motorbikes is best) stop at the little cove below one of the lookout points….
Next trip try Pattaya, sleazy, but more fun.

Oww I was in Phuket this January and what a wonderful place !!
Patong beach is crowded all the time, go there at night a very colorful place.However since me, I don’t like to swim and sun bath in over crowded places I would recommend other beaches.
The best thing you can do in Phuket is to rent a scooter and discover all it’s beaches.Hat Yai(Yai beach I believe) is to die for..I was definitely in love with that place! Then you can go to Hat Rawai to experience the tides.
There are also a couple of waterfalls and temples(wat chalong) in the inner side of the island…All yours to discover.Phuket itself is not that big in 2 hours you can travel around the island with a scooter.Roads are in good condition for riding.
Patong is the place to be at night.Either you can grab few beers from a 7/11 to drink it on the sands or you can select from big clubs to go go bars for the night.
You also have to spend at least one day participating to one these tours visiting the islands around.
Note: 1 day scooter rent is about 250 baht 1 us dollar was about 32-33 baht when I was in there this January.I hope that you know how to ride a scooter I had so much fun while doing it.
By far Patong Beach is my favorite destination in Phuket. I have been four times in the past 12 months or so, and I strongly recommend it to visitors to Thailand.
Hmmm… seems to me you have approximately four days to spend in Phuket? If so, this is what I suggest:
DAY ONE
========
Get to know Patong area! This is the most populated beach of all Phuket beaches. Have a sun tan at the glorious beach. Tasty snacks (like fried chicken wings and spring rolls! yum!) and ice cold coconut. Have a beer at the many stalls lining up the beach front.
At night, check out the many pubs and watering holes in Patong. Soi Bangla is the most famous stretch. Paradise Hotel area is where all the boys bar (if you swing that way) are located at.
DAY TWO
========
If you are comfortable riding a bike, I recommend you to rent one for about 200-300 baht. With this, you can either go north of or south of Patong beach to explore some of the more famous beaches in Phuket. Going north, you’ll come across Kamala Beach (where the monument of the infamous tsunami is at), and Surin Beach (very, very laid back – a lunch here is recommended).
Going south, you’ll come across Kata Beach, Karon Beach (I think this is where club med is located at) and a couple others that I always forget the name of! Have a relaxing massage at The Sense Spa – arguably one of the more reputable spa in Phuket, although a bit on the pricey side.
At night, make your way to catch Phuket Fantasea. You gotta do this “Disneyland of Thailand” at least once. Give the buffet a miss, but the show is a definite must. You can only book tickets from the many agents anywhere in Patong, and not directly from the venue.
DAY THREE
==========
Fancy a road trip to the inner land of Phuket? With your rented bike, you can explore many of the attractions located away from the beaches. I have visited quite a couple of them – the big buddha on top of a hill, the famous temple (they call it Wat in Thailand), Rawai Beach to visit a sea gypsy village etc. Plan your route properly – get a Lonely Planet – and you can easily fill up a day just on exploring.
DAY FOUR
=========
If you are the island hopping type, book for a full day tour to any of the nearby island. I never did that, but I heard Phi Phi Island is a good choice. Usually food and drinks are included in the package.
At the end of all four days, you should have a very healthy sun tan as souvenier from Phuket! Enjoy your stay!
