Just about anything you can find for sale in restaurants in your country you will probably be able to find it in Thailand. Thais eat their own specialties of course, lots of rice, chicken, vegetables and fruit, etc. But you can also find Western foods too. There are many KFC chicken places, Burger Kings and McDonalds and lots of restaurants serving Western foods. There are Indian, Italian, Japanese, Korean and other ethnic restaurants here and there. Pattaya and Bangkok have quite a few varieties of restaurants in all price ranges. Food courts and restaurants in supermarkets are pretty cheap.
Hotels that have kitchens often know how to fix up a Western type meal if you want. If you do not know what to order in Thailand you can always live off of fried rice! Vegetarian or with meat – up to you!
