Question by ⨳®©⨳: Why is Thai take into account a foreigner correct or untrue?
Hi I was wondering people who stay in Thailand was born in the US take into account a foreigner why and how. Also why cannot foreigners can’t possess house in Thailand? So lets say a individual who converse obviously Thai and fluent but is born let say US and now residing in Thailand and is that imply that person is nonetheless a foreigner right after all?
Thank you extremely significantly.

i think it is the exact same as mexico. usa citizens can not possess home in mexico you can personal a residence but you can not possess the land. it your born in the usa your would not be a thai citizen also.
What do you believe? Reply below!

That’s right honey if your a foreigner you can’t own land. It’s the law so we learn to live within he law. Many foreigners can speak thai but if your not a Thai citizen you can not own land but you can buy a condo as long as 51% is Thai owned. They are afraid that foreigners will come and buy up land and rise the price of lands that Thais can not afford it.
“people who live in Thailand was born in the US consider a foreigner ”
that make seance to me.
“So lets say a person who speak clearly Thai and fluent but is born let say US and now living in Thailand and is that mean that person is still a foreigner after all?”
yeah i guess so, unless the person can get the thai citizenship.(someway somehow)
what about having both parents foreigner, the person was born in a country, grew up the the country, can not speak the parents’s native language, has never even been out side of the country he/she grew up, but still be a foreigner in some country’s law!
that is japan current law. sound very nice isn’t it?
If you do not have a Thai passport you are a foreigner and therefore cannot own land you could set up a company to buy land but even that loophole could close.
It depends always on where you were born and your birth certificate not your nationality although it is possible to have a dual nationality made legally
Wait a minute, everyone that has answered has forgotten 1 main person that is born in the USA and is Thai.
His picture is on all the currency, and he has a USA passport.

As for other non royal thai born outside thailand, yes, you are considered a forigner
Thailand considers anyone without citizenship and an I.D. card a foreigner. Foreigners cannot own land in Thailand. Thailand has an alien property law.
However, if you have Thai ancestry, you may be able to reclaim your Thai citizenship. A few foreigners have been able to gain Thai citizenship.
I you can gain Thai citizenship, you can own property.
