Phi Phi Islands located in Krabi, Thailand are some of the most beautiful islands in South East Asia. Only a one hour flight from Bangkok, Krabi Thailand is a key addition to anyone’s Bucket List. On this trip we check out several islands in the area including the island were the movie The Beach was filmed with Leonardo Di Caprio. One part of the trip, we travel in a 600 horsepower speed boat. Later we travel in the unique Thai long tail boat. Hope you enjoy this YouTube.

Weather in August is transitioning from hot season to rain season. So you will get lots of sunshine, average daily temps of 30-32C and a chance of rain now and then….but usually light rain that only lasts about 30 minutes. Last year’s heavy rains and floods were in September and primarily north of Bangkok. Krabi had no problems. During our trip, we only had rain one day and it lasted about an hour. September is usually the really wet month.
How did you find the weather and sea in Krabi in August? I have a trip planned to phi phi August 2012 but am a little concerned with the wet season.

I don’t understand, why I always see soooo many young Thai women with an old white guy when I’m traveling in Thailand. I mean if your guys gonna be a couple can you find the right person at your age?? I think it represents a bad image toward Thai girls
