On Saturday, May 5, four talented Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa students competed in a contest to create their own asparagus appetizer recipe. Their recipes had to meet the following criteria:
- Is vegetarian
- Includes asparagus
- Is an appetizer
- Is original
- Costs less than $ 20 for ingredients

The competition was very fierce but after judging it was Bakti Hariyo Suseto who won the contest with his dish “Terrific Light.” The dish was original, tasty, and flawlessly executed.
Congratulations to the competitors! All the appetizers were delicious.
Special thanks to the judges and other Le Cordon Bleu staff that made this contest possible.
