Government checks local supplies

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has assigned Siriwat Khajorn Prasart, minister of commerce, and Suchart Chomklin, Chonburi party list MP, to check the quality of Moo Baan Water. Some claimed the water quality was substandard to that of city water. Investigation by the two officials found that the people of the Muang Community were, indeed, receiving poor quality water; Moo Baan water did not pass through authorized filtering processes. It is understood that the Cabinet has been set aside a  budget for the necessary purification improvements.
