Flood-hit Thailand braces for more damage
The Thai government has announced that Bangkok cannot be protected from the country’s worst floods in decades. Nearly nine million have been affected as floods hit one-third of Thailand’s provinces. Millions of others are bracing themselves for more damage. Al Jazeera’s Caroline Malone reports.

You are probably correct. I have seen terrible planning and engineering here but I thought maybe near Bangkok in newly constructed areas like industrial parks, it would be different. How do you know of this poor flood control planning other than the flooding itself?
There is no denying what you said. I was just saying to myself how I am going to react to clean roads etc when i visit the states. However, it is a country trying to modernize and it is not a rich country. I have seen bangkok change over the years with the skytrain, a subway system, etc but you still better not drink the tap water. People here leave it to fate more. Slowly that will change. Too late for the many that will die in the process. I hate to see the plastic bags etc.
In Thailand they build to many highways and industrial parks that prevent the water to flow out to the sea, they should dig massive waterways to get the next high water out

It depends on the area you live. I think it will be released nationwide (i.e. all throughout the US) in May or April but I heard it will be in theater in San Diego in Feb or Mar.
