The day concludes at the State Tower where dirty little me and random grungy folks rubbed elbows with the rich tourists and the "high so" (wealthy elite) of Thailand. My friend Melissa claims that this hotel-top bar and restaurant is kind of like that bar in that annoying movie, "Lost in Translation." I would agree, sans annoying Sofia Coppola and Bill Murray. It’s all Western prices up here too.
